iTeChat is an internal communication tool built and operated by ITEC for our team and project clients. This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect and how it's used.

Information we collect

When you're invited to iTeChat, we store the account details needed to sign you in and identify you to others: your name, username, email address, and phone number. Messages, files, and other content you send through the platform are stored so conversations and shared files remain available to their participants.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the service — authenticating you, delivering messages and notifications, and giving admins the tools to manage organization and channel membership. We don't sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage & security

Data is stored on infrastructure we control and is accessible only to authorized ITEC staff for the purpose of operating and supporting the platform. As with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
